# Lappy v0.6.0

Custom tracks can now be renamed and deleted directly on Lappy or over USB, with the SD card left inside the device.

Open a custom course and tap **EDIT**. The management screen provides RENAME, EDIT LAYOUT, DELETE TRACK and BACK. Rename uses the existing character editor, with **ERASE CHAR** clearly distinguished from track deletion. Name-only changes preserve the course revision, timing identity, PB, reference, sectors and history.

DELETE TRACK opens a named confirmation with emphasized CANCEL and a single-tap **DELETE** button. There is no hold timer. The course, PB, reference and recent results are archived before the removal is committed; raw recordings and permanent result journals are retained. Factory templates are not deletable or renamable. Management requires Track timing and route recording to be stopped/disarmed.

USB commands:

```text
track list
track rename N NEW NAME
track delete N
track delete confirm TOKEN
track manage status
```

`track delete N` only prepares the operation and prints the selected name, retention policy and a confirmation token valid for 30 seconds. The confirm command is separate. Accepted operations run on the storage worker; poll `track manage status` for `phase=done` or `phase=failed`.

The update preserves settings, raw recordings, existing course geometry and timing policies. Existing v0.5.3 PB display fixes are retained. Use v0.6.0 or newer to manage cards with the new catalog metadata; older firmware cannot honor its rename overrides and deletion guards.
